There’s a chance for up to three inches of rain in some places as storms move across the Ozarks this afternoon and evening.

Areas north and west of Springfield will see the most rain.

Damaging straight line winds will be the main threat.

A flash flood watch is in effect from late this afternoon through midday Friday over parts of southwest Missouri into southeast Kansas. Heavy rain from thunderstorms training across the same locations will be possible, which may lead to some flash flooding. #mowx #kswx pic.twitter.com/cXy8fKfR1h
