The Greene County Sheriff’s Office has identified the human remains found last week by Greene County Highway Department workers near Farm Roads 59 and 94.
Authorities say the remains belong to 39-year-old Russell Long from Willard.
Long was reported missing in April.
He was last seen at a family member’s home near Farm Road 76 and Highway UU in Willard on March 31.
The case is being investigated as a homicide.
