Springfield Police say they will now be proactively enforcing the city’s noise vehicle ordinance.
The department has seen an increase in complaints about noisy cars and motorcycles. The SPD says it also sees a correlation between noisy vehicles and careless driving.
The Police Department will be utilizing Springfield municipal ordinance 106-15.
