Springfield Police have released the name of the man who was shot to death last night near Stewart and Delmar.

Police say Jacob Rowden, 28, was from Springfield.

He was found in the yard outside a house.

Police have a person of interest in the case but haven’t been able to find the individual.

Last night we were called to 1049 S. Stewart after a person was shot. Officers arrived & found the victim, Jacob Rowden, outside. He was transported to a local hospital and, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
