Branson’s face mask ordinance is no longer in effect.
It expired Friday morning.
The Branson Board of Alderman voted this week to move up the end date because local vaccination rates have been going up and because of a relatively flat trend for new cases of COVID-19.
The city is still encouraging local businesses to mandate their own safety requirements for staff and customers.
