An electrical problem started a fire that forced nearly a dozen people to evacuate their rooms this morning at the Redwood Motel in Springfield.
Firefighters found flames coming out of one of the rooms near Chestnut and the West Bypass around 6:45 a.m.
KY3 reports one room above it was also damaged, and several others had smoke and water damage.
No one was hurt.
