The National Weather Service says strong to severe storms are possible this afternoon through about 4 p.m.

We could see strong to severe storms today, with the best chance east of Highway 65 and southeast of Springfield.
Large hail, damaging wind and tornadoes will be possible.
Those storms are expected to get started later this morning and last into the early evening hours.
Heavy rain moved through the area during the morning drive Wednesday.
Quarter size hail was reported in Nixa.
