Laclede County detectives have found new surveillance video they hope will assist in an investigation into a homicide that took place on Walnut Road March 22.
Eric Rodriquez, a 46 year old man, was found dead inside a car near Bass Road, and was last seen at a music festival near Laquey two days prior.
Deputies have been gathering new information for weeks, and other local law enforcement have been contributing to the effort. Laclede County Sheriff David Millsap confirms they have a vehicle of interest.
Law Enforcement currently believe the vehicle in question took State Highway 17 south from Buckhorn, then drove along Highway U, to State Highway 32, and then onto Bass Road and Walnut.
The investigation is complicated by the fact that Rodriguez is not from the area.
