Springfield City Council has endorsed a recovery plan that would eventually lift some of the coronavirus regulations currently in place.
The plan depends on a three-pronged approach that includes vaccinations, the 7-day average of new cases and the number of COVID-19 patients in Springfield hospitals.
Greene County is currently in the red phase, but could move into the yellow phase by mid-April.
KY3 reports the plan could eventually lift occupancy limits on businesses and retire the face mask ordinance.
Health officials say things are looking good.
If that continues, occupancy limits could be lifted by mid-April – but people would still have to wear face masks.
