Morning Storms Prompt Watches, Warnings

Thunderstorms are rolling through the Ozarks this morning, prompting some severe thunderstorm warnings before 6 a.m.

The storms Wednesday morning blew the roof off of an outbuilding in Cherokee County, Kansas.

But the best chance for severe weather is later today and tonight.

The National Weather Service says an organized round of storms will bring the chance for golf ball size hail, 60-mile per hour wind gusts, and even a tornado or two.

The best chance for storms will be after 3 p.m.

A Flash Flood Watch is in effect through Thursday morning for the entire KTTS listening area.
