Severe Thunderstorms Possible Along with Minor Flooding in Southeastern Ozarks

A chance of severe thunderstorms and heavy rain will occur tonight in the southeastern part of the KTTS listening area.

That includes southern Taney County, Douglas County, and Ozark County. The National Weather Service expects 1 to 1 and a half inches of rain, and the possibility of hail up to a quarter size. The National Weather Service expects some scattered showers throughout the Ozarks, but most of the hazards will be over south Central Missouri. The National Weather Service does not expect much wind from these storms.

In addition, a flood watch will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday.
