Springfield Police will soon be wearing body cameras after receiving a shipment of them recently.
Police Chief Paul Williams says it bought 240 cameras at a price of $612,000.
They will cost around $150,000 a year to maintain.
The department recently received their shipment of cameras.
The department plans to do a demonstration on how to use the cameras on Monday.
