Family and friends gathered Sunday night to remember a woman and her 13-year-old son who were stabbed to death in Springfield on Thursday, December 31.
Police say 32-year-old Stephanie Plumb and her son, Dylan Moore, were stabbed to death in their home on west Scott.
Her 14-year-old and 7-year-old daughters were also wounded.
Plumb’s fiancé, 29-year-old Brandon King, is charged in the case.
He admitted to the stabbings.
He told police he was facing a new charge in Christian County and planned to kill the family, steal a van, and leave the state.
