A former employee for the city of Fair Play has pleaded guilty to stealing nearly $100,00 over a five year period.
Amy Buckley was sentenced to five to ten years for each of her six charges but a judge in Polk County suspended those sentences and she will be on supervised probation for five years.
Buckley was also ordered to pay more than $78,000 back to the city.
Buckley previously admitted to the crimes to Polk County investigators.
Court records say Buckley issued herself 20 paychecks in 2019 from January to April.
