A man jailed for a nightclub shooting has had charges against him dropped as investigators no longer believe he fired shots.
Dimitri Dudley was originally charged as one of two shooters at Club Rodeo in a shooting in August.
August 26, 2020, at 1:30 a.m. shots were fired in the parking lot and one person was hit with a bullet to the arm. Dudley was searched after the shooting. He was in a car as a passenger at the time.
He has had all charges of assault against him dropped, and is charged with unlawful possession of a firearm. Dudley had a prior conviction.
Dudley’s attorney says testimony from the victim stated that Dudley had not been the one who fired any shots.
The case is still under investigation.
