Springfield Police will be conducting patrols tonight searching for drunk drivers from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m.
The Springfield Police Department sent out a press release, saying, “The Springfield Police Department wants to remind drivers to be vigilant and to watch for suspected impaired drivers operating on our roadways. Remember, “You Drink, You Drive, You Lose”.”
Police say this program is a proactive measure as the holidays come and drunk driving becomes more common.
