Barry County authorities are tracking a sudden increase in burglaries on churches in the county.
Several churches in Exeter, Monett, and Purdy have had break-ins. Both Grace Baptist and New Site churches have been hit multiple times.
Stolen items include speaker equipment, gas, and cables from vans. Sound equipment appears to be a common theme, including instruments.
Barry County Deputies have not confirmed the burglaries are all related. They haven’t ruled out the possibility.
