The Springfield-Greene County health director says despite a growing number of COVID-19 cases locally and around the state, he’s not sure more restrictions, such as a stay-at-home order, would be helpful in the future.
Clay Goddard says back in the spring, there were some federal programs that helped offset some of the burden to families, such as payroll protection and stimulus money.
But many of those have run out or are no longer in place, and there are no easy answers.
Goddard says masking is still one of the best tools we can use to combat the virus.
