Sign-ups are underway for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Toy and Food Distribution program.
The organization says it’s serving those who live in Greene and Christian Counties, assisting families with kids 16 and under, households with seniors 60 and up, and homes with disabled individuals.
When you apply, you need to bring a photo ID, proof of address (such as a monthly bill from September, October, November, or a copy of a current lease or Section 8 paperwork), and a letter of verification if you are disabled.
Sign-ups run from November 9 -13 and November 16-20 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
There is an evening sign up on November 16 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
