Police are investigating a shooting in the 2500 block of west Lincoln in Springfield.
Someone called 911 just after 10:30 Tuesday morning to report shots heard.
Police say a dispute between two neighbors led to the shooting, and the disturbance was over a theft.
A man has been taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to the upper chest, but it’s not believed his injuries are life-threatening.
Officers say the shooter is cooperating with police.
It’s in an area near Lincoln and Clifton west of Kansas Expressway.
