Police in Springfield have identified a man who died in a crash at Chestnut Expressway and Highway 65 early Friday morning.
Authorities say 20-year-old Sean Carter from Republic lost control of his motorcycle, went off the road, was ejected and hit a concrete barrier under the Highway 65 Bridge.
Carter died at the scene.
This is the 20th fatality motor vehicle crash and the 22nd total crash-related death of 2020 for Springfield.
