Two more inmates have died this week from COVID-19 at Springfield’s Medical Center for Federal Prisoners. That brings the total to four this week.

Fifty-Two-year-old Waylon Young Bird died from complications of the virus. He was sentenced to 12 years for attempting to distribute controlled substances.

Samuel Prieto, 58, also died from complications of the virus.
