A motorcyclist is dead after a crash in Springfield late Saturday.
The victim was in his 20s. Police say they arrived on scene shortly after 8 p.m. at the intersection of Kearney and North Fort Avenue.
Authorities say the motorcycle collided with another car. One person in the car suffered minor injuries.
They say speeding appears to be a contributing factor in the crash.
This is the third straight night that Springfield Police are investigating a crash involving a motorcycle.
