The Missouri Veterans Commission says it plans to test the veterans and staff at all of its veterans homes for signs of COVID-19.
Acting Executive Director Ryon Richmond says teams have visited sites in St. Louis and Cameron, and plan to visit Mexico and Cape Girardeau next week.
Teams will start testing for the coronavirus in Mt. Vernon, St. James, and Warrensburg in the coming weeks.
Missouri has more than 1,200 veterans in seven state veterans homes.
