Community Sampling COVID-19 Testing To Be Held At Ozark Empire Fairgrounds

As part of Gov. Mike Parson’s plan to increase COVID-19 testing by community sampling, many locations will be offering nasal swab tests at no cost to anyone wanting a Coronavirus test.

One of those locations is in Greene County, at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.

The times for that testing is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 4 and Friday, June 5.

The only requirement is you have to be a Missouri resident, meaning you don’t have to live in the county you’re getting a test in, and you do not have to be showing symptoms.

Governor Parson’s goal is to have nearly 7,500 tests a day across the state, and nearly 10,000 people tested over a 10 day period.

At least 13 Missouri counties have already participated in community sampling efforts, which allows public health officials to learn more about the prevalence of COVID-19 transmission.

The following locations will be part of community sampling in the upcoming weeks.
