Cedar County authorities are working a homicide at Price Branch cove near Stockton Lake.
The sheriff says the fisherman was found shot to death at a gravel boat ramp.
He was in his 40s and lived in the area.
The sheriff says a family member went looking for the man when he didn’t show up to go fishing.
The victim’s SUV and boat trailer are reportedly missing.
