One person is being treated at a local hospital after escaping their burning home in west Springfield.
It happened Monday just after 8:30 p.m. in the 700 block of north Warren, which is just west of Kansas Expressway and north of Chestnut.
The extent of the victim’s injuries isn’t known and the house is heavily damaged.
There were no other people hurt.
