After a nice weekend with highs in the 60’s, a front will move into the Ozarks by Monday of next week and stall, creating the potential for heavy rainfall.
The National Weather Service says thunderstorms may accompany the heavy rain, as well as some degree of flooding.
Right now, areas southeast of I-44 look to be in line for the heavier rain, but the weather service says subsequent forecasts will need to be monitored.
