Patients and Drivers are wondering what they will do when Express Medical Transporters closes its transport service in Springfield next month.
The St. Louis-based company will maintain a call center and customer service representatives in Springfield, but has decided the transport is not profitable in the city.
Buses will stop on March 20th.
Fifty to 100 patients rely on buses from the company every day.
Some are concerned with the service ending in Springfield, they won’t be able to make appointments, even with other transport services available.
