Applications for Crosslines Christmas Food Baskets and Toystore Being Accepted Next Week

Residents in Greene County can begin applying for the Crosslines Christmas Food Baskets and Toystore starting Monday, Dec. 2.

Applications are being completed at the Crosslines Community Resource Center from December 2 to December 7 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Crosslines is accepting applications in the evening on December 5 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Applicants need to bring social security cards for all family members of the household and a piece of mail within the last 30 days verifying residency in Greene County.

Greene County residents can apply for the Crosslines Christmas Food Baskets and the Crosslines Toystore at the Crosslines Holiday Center beginning Monday, December 2. Crosslines, an outreach service of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks, offers assistance to Greene County residents to provide holiday meals and toys/gifts for local families that meet income criteria. Applicants must be prepared with the following:

Social security cards for every member of the household (no photocopies can be accepted)

A current (within 30 days) piece of mail verifying residency in Greene County

Applications for adult-only households are limited to all residents who are aged 60 and over or homebound (Homebound applications must be completed by their Aid with a permission letter and applicable documentation). All applications received will be cleared through the Community Clearinghouse to avoid service duplication. Applications can be completed at Crosslines during the following days and times for both Thanksgiving and Christmas:

Monday, December 2 – Saturday, December 7 (9:00am-1:30pm)

Evening applications on Thursday, December 5 (3:00pm -7:00pm)
