A 12-year-old girl is dead and police are still looking for the suspect after a hit and run crash in Lebanon Saturday night.
The Lebanon Police Department says in a press release that officers were called to Highway 5 and Adam St. around 7:30 p.m. after reports of a crash.
The 12-year-old girl that was hit was taken to Mercy hospital where she later died.
The driver took off from the scene. Police say the vehicle was a black Chevy truck, last seen heading north on Highway 5.
If you have any information, you’re urged to call 911. The Lebanon Police Department says be on the lookout for a vehicle matching that description and also has front end damage.
