Springfield Breaks Record High Set Back In 1960

The Ozarks lately has had a trend of very warm temperatures.

Meteorologist Justin Titus says the National Weather Service in Springfield keeps records of temps at the airport and he says we broke one today

Titus says it was a record high of 95 degrees today that was previous record of 94 that was set back in 1960.

The weather service is looking at the climatic prediction center which is keeping the Ozarks above normal for the next couple of weeks.

Fall officially starts on Monday.
