New Report Shows Missouri Takes Drastic Decline In Drunk Driving Deaths, But Still Hundreds Of Crashes Involving Booze And Drugs

A new report shows Missouri has had a drastic decline in the number of drunk driving deaths since 2000.

Adam Johnson with online insurance marketplace QuoteWizard  tells Missourinet that the data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Association shows the shift.

Johnson with online insurance marketplace QuoteWizard says the figure ranks Missouri eighth best in the nation, he thinks national drunk driving campaigns and ridesharing services are helping Missouri to breakthrough.

Although the decline is double digits, 198 people were still killed and 607 seriously injured in 2017 Missouri crashes that involved alcohol or drugs.
