Authorities Search For Man Who Might Have Drowned At Bull Shoals Lake

Authorities in Baxter County are searching for a man who has possibly drowned in Bull Shoals Lake.

The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office says they are searching for a 64-year-old man, mainly around the Lakeview Marina near the Bull Shoals Dam.

Witnesses say they saw Ralph Rush, who’s from Lakeview, Ark., near the edge of the lake around 10 a.m. Monday. He was using a walker.

Witnesses found the walker and the man’s cell phone in the lake several hours later. Searchers also found Rush’s wallet near the edge of the water.

Multiple agencies are assisting Baxter County deputies with the search, including Arkansas Game and Fish, U. S. Army Corp of Engineers, and other volunteers.

If you have any information, you’re asked to call the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.
