A man from Illinois has died after a crash on I-44 west of Lebanon.
The Highway Patrol says Adam Hoover, who was 32 and from Carmi, Illinois, went off the side of the road, over-corrected and flipped Sunday morning just before 10 a.m.
Hoover was thrown from his SUV and was pronounced dead at the scene around 10:30 a.m. No one else was injured.
The Highway Patrol says this is Troop I’s first fatal crash in August, and the 22nd in 2019.
