Springfield police have released the name of a man found dead early Thursday morning in the basement of “The Complex” entertainment venue on Park Central East.
The victim is identified as Christopher Robert Toth, 26.
A police spokeswoman says Toth was believed to be affiliated with the business, but she was not sure to what capacity.
Officers say it may take awhile to figure out the manner of death, which has been listed as “suspicious.”
Police confirmed Thursday that Toth had a gunshot wound.
Criminal investigators spent much of Thursday at the business, which was surrounded with crime scene tape.
