With overcrowded prisons being a problem in Greene County and budget cuts being a problem in Ozark County, the two counties are working together to solve  both problems.

Greene County has arranged for up to 15 inmates to be housed at Ozark County Jail at any given time for 45 dollars a day per inmate.

Ozark County, in return, projects revenue from the project to equal around a quarter million. This is especially useful since Ozark County experienced budget cuts in January.

Both sides call the deal a win-win.
