We’ve enjoyed summer like weather most of the week but the rain might make a comeback.
After some minor rainfall Wednesday, the National Weather Service in Springfield says 3 to 7 inches of rainfall is possible between Friday night and next Wednesday.
With high water levels already being a threat across the state, this could cause more potential flooding.
But meteorologists say their current predictions are pretty low.
