A woman from Hollister, who tried to get away from law enforcement, was hit by a patrol during a pursuit in Kimberling City.
The Highway Patrol says it happened Tuesday morning during a search for two suspects.
The crash report says Sarah Sanders and another person were pursued through a field with high vegetation.
A sergeant with the Kimberling City Police Department, who drove slowly through the field unknowingly, drove over Sanders where she was lying in the field.
She was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
