While some folks in the Ozarks got heavy rain Monday morning, another round of showers and thunderstorms will push through southwest Missouri in the afternoon and evening.
The National Weather Service says the best chance for large hail and damaging winds will be along and north of I-44.
Cloud to ground lightning and heavy rain will also be possible, and the rain could lead to localized flash flooding.
Forecasters say period storm chances will continue much of this week.
Some chances for strong to severe storms will be possible.
The best chance for widespread heavier rain and flooding appears to be Wednesday night through Friday.
