3 Confirmed Tornadoes Hit Ozarks Tuesday

Three confirmed tornadoes touched down during Tuesday’s storms.

Survey teams say an EF-1 tornado hit Mansfield, Manes, and Hartville.

The twister had winds around 110 miles an hour.

It was on the ground for nearly 22 miles, destroying the front and back part of the Town and Country grocery store in Hartville.

It also knocked a large tree onto a house in Hartville.

An EF-1 tornado hit the Northview and Marshfield areas.

A NWS survey confirmed the twister tracked from near Interstate 44 and Jungle Road to 1.5 miles west
of Marshfield.

It had an intermittent path of 7 miles, with estimated peak winds of 100 mph and a
maximum width of 100 yards.

The tornado produced roof damage and multiple uprooted and snapped trees.

And a third twister, an EF-1, touched down near Edgar Springs in Phelps County.

It ripped up hundreds of trees.

Six tornadoes were reported to the National Weather Service Tuesday.

KTTS News will continue to update this story as more tornadoes are confirmed.

Since January 1st this year, 32 tornadoes have touched down in southwest Missouri.
