After a warm and mostly dry day Thursday with highs reaching into the 70’s, we have several chances for rain through early Saturday.
The National Weather Service says showers and isolated storms will move into the area Thursday night, then become more widespread on Friday.
Total rainfall amounts will range from .75 inch in southern Missouri to nearly 2.0 inches across central Missouri.
Some strong storms are possible late Friday night into early Saturday, mainly southwest of Springfield.
