After a rainy day in the Ozarks, the National Weather Service says we could see it change to snow overnight.

Meteorologist Jason Schaumann says the changeover to snow is expected to start around 4 a.m. on Tuesday.

“We are monitoring the potential for some light snow late tonight into Tuesday morning,” Schaumann says. “Folks along and north of the Highway 60 corridor could see some light snow accumulations.”

Some areas could see anywhere between a dusting to an inch of snow.

The snow is expected to continue well into the morning drive on Tuesday.

“Some locations are expected to get an inch of snowfall. Some of that snow could stick on the roads, causing slick conditions,” Schaumann says.
