Police in Branson have identified the woman killed Saturday night after she was hit by a car in a crosswalk near the Branson Landing.
Police say Laura Curnes died from injuries in the crash at the hospital.
Her husband, Greg Curnes, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Curnes is a Sergeant with the Missouri Highway Patrol and works on the major crash investigation team.
A third person, Jean L. Moncrief, also suffered injuries. She is listed in critical condition.
Police say all were hit in the crosswalk.
The driver is Steven C. Weter from Hollister.
The crash happened near Main Street and Branson Landing Boulevard Saturday around 8 p.m.
Police say Weter stopped and cooperated with officers on the scene.
