Our next storm system will start with rain in the Ozarks by Friday afternoon into Saturday morning.

The rain will then change over to snow from northwest to southeast, with one to three inches of snow accumulation across southwest Missouri before ending by Saturday evening.

Meteorologists say we could receive some widespread rainfall amounts ranging from a half inch up to an inch, which may lead to a limited risk for flooding of low lying areas.

Another system may bring light snowfall to the Ozarks early next week.
