Police in Springfield say there was a shooting overnight at a gas station.

It happened at the Kum and Go on the corner of Glenstone and Grand.

The incident started as a verbal altercation between two men.

One man pulled out a gun and shot the other man in the stomach.

He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The shooter was arrested at the scene.
