The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is reminding everyone to stay safe this New Year and think twice before getting behind the wheel when intoxicated.

The Sheriff’s Office posted on its Facebook page this morning that an intoxicated driver crashed into a deputies house early News Year’s Day.

Deputies say the driver was under the age of 21.

The vehicle left the roadway and struck the corner of the house, damaging the garage and smashing into his personal motorcycle and patrol car.

No one was seriously injured.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says if you’re of legal age and going to drink, call an UberLyft, or a local taxi.
