Volunteers from Victory Mission Ministries will be knocking on doors around Springfield Saturday morning delivering Christmas food baskets to needy families.
When the day is through, over 350 Christmas food baskets will have been delivered.
The over 100 volunteers will start delivering the baskets at 9 a.m.
The City of Springfield will be sending out three fire trucks to help deliver baskets.
Each Christmas food basket costs just $40 and is filled with items to prepare a traditional Christmas meal like ham, stuffing, scalloped potatoes, vegetables, rolls, fresh fruit and dessert
