Police in Springfield have identified the person who was killed in a motorcycle crash last week.
Officers say Dakota Randolph, 23, of Springfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash on November 30.
Randolph was reportedly driving south on Kansas Expressway near Mt. Vernon St. when an SUV driving north onto Mt. Vernon in front of the motorcycle.
Authorities say the motorcycle hit the passenger side of the SUV.
A passenger in the SUV was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police say it’s still unknown whether the driver of the SUV was impaired. The investigation continues.
