If you live in Greene County this is the last week you can apply for Holiday Food Baskets and the Toystore at the Crosslines Holiday Center.

If applying for help you will need social security cards for every member of the household and a current piece of mail verifying residency in Greene County.

Crosslines is an outreach service of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks.

Applications can be completed at the holiday center at 615 North Glenstone in Springfield.

To qualify for holiday assistance programs through Crosslines, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Must be residents of Greene County
Must provide Social Security Cards for all members of household (including children)
Must provide a piece of mail less than 30 days old
Household income must fall at or below USDA Poverty Scale for family size

In addition, applicants must meet ONE of the following requirements:

A school-aged or younger child (birth to 18 years) must be living in the household
All members of the household must be 60 years or older
All members of the household must be homebound

Applications can be completed at Crosslines during the following days and times:

Monday, November 26 – Saturday, December 1 from 9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Thursday, November 29 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.

If you do not meet these qualifications, both the Victory Mission and Salvation Army assist adult-only house.
